QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum age 18 years. Prefer one year of college and one year of food handling experience.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist concession manager with daily activities of the concession stand and staff including but not limited to: food prep, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, product ordering, pricing, supply restocking, facility upkeep, staff supervision/scheduling, seasonal opening/closing of facility and enforcement of county/city policies and codes.

SUPERVISION:

Report directly to Concession Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic, food handling experience, work independently and supervision of staff. Serve safe certification required or able to acquire.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Food prep and service in accordance with Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.
    1. Correctly operating all foodservice equipment
    2. Proper food handling procedures
    3. Cook food
  2. Cash handling
    1. Startup and ending monies
    2. Accurate change counting
    3. Accurate sales transactions
  3. Communicate with staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
  4. Inventory control
    1. Monitor supply levels.
    2. Assist with ordering of supplies.
    3. Daily restocking of merchandise.
  5. Facility Upkeep
    1. Monitor cleanliness of concession stand area and equipment
    2. Enforce all rules and regulations
  6. Any other related duty as assigned by the concession manager
  7. Supervision of concession stand staff.
    1. Enforce all rules and regulations regarding attire, hygiene, food handling, money and customer service as set forth by county or city.
    2. Enforce all rules and regulations including attire and health code items.
    3. Assist in training and supervision of staff to ensure high level of customer service.
  8. Proper training of concession attendants.
  9. Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies.
  10. Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

COMPENSATION:

Seasonal work hours are determined by pool operation hours.

STARTING SALARY: $14.00/HR
